We opened up on Drew as he stood there in the back in front of the PWT backdrop that hung proudly. He wasted no time however as he then continued to speak.
‘’That isn’t my style. I don’t try jumping somebody when they don’t see it coming, oh no, I confront them face to face, man to man if I have a problem with them. That is what this week will be Banch, we are going to go face to face and toe to toe with each other and every problem that we have or had will be settled in that ring my friend. You see, you can cut this long and extremely drawn out promo to use up more airtime then I do but I don’t have to use up a lot of airtime in-order to get my thoughts out there in the open. I say what needs to be said and I move on, that is how I work. Now during all of this airtime in which you used, I remember hearing ‘Drew whom?�?in there and you know, that made me laugh. Here I have busted my ass for this company and this industry, I have walked through hell and back not long ago against Seifer in that terror dome match and still, I hear that. I would say that it disappoints me but honestly? I have heard it so many times that it really doesn’t matter anymore. Negative criticism is all over this industry, we all have our haters and our doubters and all you have to do is simply ignore what they say and go out there and do what you love because those haters, those doubters, they aren’t the ones who pay your checks or scream your name when they have nobody else to look up to, the fans do.’�?/FONT>
The look on his face showed that he was very intense and quite pumped up right now, however, he continued speaking as everybody listened on to his every word.
‘’I look around and as of late? I see everybody constantly jumping me, assaulting me from every which angle and they are obviously trying to put me on the shelf because they saw that match against Seifer and they watched as I had the win, that was until Mitchell struck me in the head with a steel chair and helped Seifer walk out as the champion.’�?/FONT>
Suddenly he ran his hand through his hair as he then continued, his face still bandaged and bruised from that hellacious dome match.
‘’Banch, I really don’t dislike you or anything. You are a great competitor, you have a lot to offer this industry but if your group does in fact try to interfere in this thing? Man, I won’t hesitate to flatten them. I have grown tired of all the cowardly attacks as of late and so it isn’t going to happen this week.’�?/FONT>
He just shakes his head.
‘’I want a good old fashioned one on one Banch and I am pretty sure that you are the right guy to step into the ring with. I am not going to stand here and tell the world that I will beat your ass or curb stomp you because anybody can run around and say such things. We are going to give everybody something special Banch, something that they can pass down to their kids and their kids�?kids. We are going to give everybody a five star, show stealing performance and there isn’t a person in the back who can say otherwise, not one.’�?/FONT>
He shook his head while holding up his index finger.
‘’This might be short Banch but it was directly to the point. I am coming into that ring to do what I do best and that is wrestle and so I hope that you do the same because this thing can be the biggest, the best of the year and that is a guarantee. I will catch you here very soon Banch, count on that.’�?/FONT>
The look on his face showed that he was very serious instead of his calm, relaxed one as usual. He then turned around and walked off out of view as we faded out for now.
