[ From a black screen we fade into the warning about illegal reception of the following pay per view presentation. From there we briefly fade back to black. But quickly we're into the Shockwave opening video featuring Three Six Mafia's "Its A Fight". As the video ends the scene goes live inside the Angel Arena. Pyros are going off as the cameras pan over the crowd. Fans are waving their signs and we pull into a shot at ringside. Bob Fecca, along with Eddie Styles, welcomes us to ringside. They run down tonight's card sharing their opinions on them. Then its time for our opening match of the night.

[ Xavier Homicide comes to the ring with Summer at his side. They get in the ringa nd discuss how important this match will be. Its the one to set the tone for the rest of the show. As they're discussing things here comes Marcus Payton down to the ring accompanied by Reagan Clyde. They get in the ring and ref Frank Mason orders Reagan and Summer out of the ring. They leave as directed and the bell rings.

[ Early moments of the match see both men circling each other. X-Man looking for an opening ta unload a punch combo while Marcus looks for a opening to take X down. Finally though the X-Man just comes in nailing a few body shots. He goes for a big knocktout punch but Payton ducks back between the top an middle ropes. Mason forcing X-Man to back up. Back to the center of the ring X-Man beckons for marcus Payton to bring it. However instead of a slugfest Marcus wants a test of strength. He raises a hand and X takes it. Slowly marcus brings up his other hand and X locks with that one too. All of a sudden Marcus applies all the pressure he can muster. He seems to have the early advantage on the X-Man. But the crowd, with Summer's urging, get behind Xavier. He powers up from a knee and he's got Marcus in obvious pain. Payton tries to stomp X's foot, but the X-Man moves his foot and stomps Marcus'!

[ After the test of strength was broken Xavier dominated the match with his powerful brawling. Marcus Payton was reeling when Reagan Clyde jumped on the apron. She tried to distract X-Man but Summer rounded the corner and yanked her off the apron. The two ladies argued as X-man looked on from inside teh ring. Marcus Payton looked to use this as his chance, but was blocked. The X-Man nailed his "The Assassination" hanging double-arm brainbuster! He makes a pin but strangely Referee Frank Mason chooses to get between Summer and Reagan. Hmm....Well maybe that decision ain't so strange afterall.

[ Xavier left the pin to demand mason return to the ring. When he turned around to inflict more damage on Payton, X-man was taken down with a drop toe hold. No time for any kind of counteraction for X. Quickly ole Marcus Payton locks on "The Snowstorm Effect" which is also known as the Muta lock. Mason back in the ringa nd asks Xavier if he wants to give up. The X-Man refuses and tries to drag himself towards the ropes, but its no use. Slowly the fight drains outta the X-Man. Eventually the ref checks hima nd decides that Xavier can no longer defend himself and calls for the bell.

[ Once the match is over Summer is quick to slide in and make sure there's no post match attacks. Payton leaving up the ramp with his hands high in the air. Shockwave fades to commercial with The Elite Republic having won the first battle in this heated war.
