[ Earlier this evening a memo was sent out to performers, staff, and all other employees that PWT has found a new home for PWT programming. It would appear that we've joined forces with the rapidly growing Aimoo Network. After reading our memo, we spoke to Becca Wipwreck-McCallister about the announcement.
PWT.com: So it seems that we've found a new home for our programming eh? But the announcement did not state that we would be immediately broadcasting on our new partner's network. Why?
Becca: Well we have a non-compete clause with MSN until their network is officially off the air. Once it is though we will begin broadcasting on the Aimoo Network.
PWT.com: With MSN not planning to close up shop til near the end of February, why make the announcement of our new partnership barely into the first full week of January?
Becca: Recently we've began to lose some major sponsors since movie to weekly pay per views. Those sponsors are a big piece of our income here at PWT considerings ome of the salaries we have to pay to bring our fans the best this business has to offer.
PWT.com: So this move is intended to win back those sponsors? Do you think it'll really work.
Becca: Yes, I very much think it'll work. Already we've regained a committment from Sony's Playstation brand. Currentlly we're in talks with Dr Pepper, Burger King, and several other national brands for sponsorship.
PWT.com: Wow! Thanks for your time bosslady.
Becca: No problem.
[ There ya have it everybody, get ready for the big switch in February.....erm PWT's move, though ya should also prepare for the switch to digital television.
