I finally went to the chiropractor on Saturday.  I got lectured pretty good.  Seem that we may now know the cause for my heart to be enlarged on one side.  I have no curve in my neck.  See, where the spine enters the brain, there is a hole.  There should be a natural curve starting there.  Instead I have a straight angle that then turns and goes the other way at a straight angle.  It can diminish the amount of oxygen your body recieve, like the heart, which can result in an enlarged heart.  He said he has only ever seen 20 cases like me.  There is also a spot in my back that curves to the side, right at the heart.  He adjusted both places, however, I will have to go back several times to try to correct my neck and keep it corrected.  He may have to order a special brace that blows up and supports the neck in the correct position.  He said if I wasn't serious, he couldn't help me, and the issues could cause more trouble later on.  When it comes to the heart, I really don't want any more issues.  So I am going to be a good girl.

My previous chiro had told me I had "giraffe neck" but I didn't know what that meant.  Now I do.  I only went to her when I did something stupid, like fall or twist something.  It had been years since I saw a chiro. 

I had always just thought of them as bone crackers.  Well, he explained it all to me in a way I hadn't thought of. 

When we are concieved, we begin developing a brain and spinal cord.  Then come the nerves.  When adjusting us, they are correcting the position of the spinal cord which corrects the nerves and the bones.  It is like working on the core of our physical being.  We all work on our spiritual core and emotional core a great deal.  So, yes, I learned a lot.

Anyhow, just wanted to share.  I go back this afternoon.  Thankfully, he is going to wait for me.
