Men
Although the likelihood of men suffering from breast cancer is far less than that of women, cases do occur, so be sure to be aware if you experience any of the following symptoms:
Lumps around the nipple or other area of the breast
Nipple discharge of any description
Tender or drawn in nipples
Ulceration or swelling in the breasts
Swelling of the lymph nodes
If you recognise any of these symptoms then head straight for the GP.

One in nine women in the UK will suffer from breast cancer at some point in their lives, and in the UK it is also the most common cancer in women.  October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and charities and health experts alike are encouraging both men and women to be more breast aware.
Check for Changes in breast size:-
Changes in position or shape of your nipples
Rashes on or around your nipples
Discharge from your nipples
Changes in the skin of your breasts
Swelling under the armpits or around the collarbone
Continuous pain in your armpits or breasts
Thickening or lumpiness in your breasts
If you recognise any of these symptoms then you should make an appointment with your GP straight away.
