Just had phone call from tv health show..

and yesssssss

BB my daughter is being filmed again Friday 10th october in

BIRMINGHAM!!The actual tv set..with those 3 doctors.

She has been accepted on the tv show ..

That is very important for us because of her Lyphedema problems which has spread from hand..to arm..to leg..and now her face and stomach.

As for me?/

They have put me to one side because they have had so many skin problems already..

hmmmmmmmm well I have sufferred 30 years..am now 50..and think that I have had most of my life so I,ll cope ..

but for ma bacardi ..she is just 24 and sufferred carrying around all this fluid weight for 8 years..is at risk of heart attacks and fluid-on-lungs and other complications..cant have children because it would be life-threatening..

so this is mor eimnportant that bacardi gets in than me.

This is some hope ..I pray they can help.

Being screened on tv Feb 2009..more news later.

That's fantastic news for BB Penny, they would not be filming her if they didn't think they could help her.. not good for telly figures. I'm really sorry they've put you to one side but I'm sure you are delighted for your daughter. I do hope it all turns out really well. Give her my blessings

Oh yes Blod..me is exxy static for her..

they are going to give her MLD (manual drainage course..and hopefully they will look into the reid sleeve that BB has told them she so wants..

It was Silk who tld us about the reid sleeves but they cost £1,400

so we can only just hold our breaths and wait to see what happens.

They havent had a Lymphedema (lymhpoedema )case on the tv show before) so this is the first case to be highlighted.

Oh Poshy I am so happy for young BB. They obviously think they can help her.

Sorry they have put you to one side....but I know being a mother myself you would rather they sorted BB out first. BB has all her life ahead of her yet and will be fantastic if they can help her.

Will certainly be watching the program.

Penny I am so happy for BB and let's hope that by being on this programme they can help her like all the other doctor's etc have failed to do.

Sorry that you have been put to the side for the time being but who knows what the future will bring, perhaps a phone call saying that they would like you to take part at another time.

Look forward to seeing the programme and the help BB will receive!

The tv physcologist just phoned Bb to go through things with her...

and the researcher emailed to say they giving her few months of MLD treatment which they will pay for.

I,ll keep you posted.
