well heres my suggestions penny  lol

NO to housekeeper cos some cleaning agents might irritate your skin however if gloves are supplied then the hours are good

MAYBE - to co-op because hours agre good and job will be relatively stress free

NO - to mencap cos late evenings and not sure what chlorine would do to u

NO - to flagship - nice to be around the sailors but do u really want to be working nights???

NO to school cos u will be back tosquare one next year.

HOWEVER - maybe u need to consider the salaries that they are offering?  If one of the jobs is extremely good pay for the hours you would have to work then it may be worth considering.

Good Luck and Im sure that whatever you choose to do you will give it your ll.

Love  Leda x

You both agreed with me..
I so wanted the Etap hotel job cos it is right next door to da football stadium..not even finished yet..opens 19th october..but we would start work tuesday at Hotel Ibis (they are same chain) to learn the routine etc..
th wages should be £5.73 minimum wage..and how you earn that is by making sure you get 4 rooms ready cleaned and set up in an hour..thats a room every 15minutes @ £1.44...(makes up to £5.73 per hour)
but if there happens to be a sick room or a bad room..it will take longer than 15minutes..if there is a do not diturb sign u cant clean it..if all ya rooms have those signs..how ya gonna earn any money cos u only get paid £1.44 per room cleabed.
Now what if none of yer 15 rooms are booked!!Do ya earn nowt??
Well I asked that question..they said they would find some comfort care jobs..meaning whtever needs doing.
WEll the new manager Madz is a dutchman and he is awesome..I got on well with him at Tuesdays interview..and he wa simpressed I could speak good french and a weeny bit of dutch.
I was offerred assistan thousejkeepers job ..where I would still clean the rooms but also be in control of the linn and supplies and ensuring the staff did their jobs..and found cover for staff off sick or on holiday.
MM i still was keen..but then thought well its managerial again for low wage..
mayb not.(Even though I sent back the contract to say yes I start tuesday and put ma darn p45 in envelope !!)
but then the postyman came  and coop offerred me a job..
and i got thinking!!Well i been wiv them on and off for years in between care home..and i wont be in charge..i wont work early nor late..
and the discounts..benefits ..are tempting..
so i decided go wiv da coop..they know me already..and is well established..
yep..i chose coop.
Money is just over minimum wage ..not brilliant..but whats the point of going for the £6 £7 or £8 jobs when it involves caring and swimming or working late at nite??
(The navy reception job was £6.25..not a lot for working through the nite is it??)well i not think it is for stay-awake-job!!

I start at Coop Monday.
Yep..good ole faitful coop..in a credit crunch I got to take job I think will be safest ..and we all need food so I best stick wiv food..although I will not be handling it directly..I have told them me cant handle fresh foods or do the baking cos of ma skin ..( I didnt hide it this time..told them straight..cos I always took managerial retail before so I could avoid working directly wiv da food ya ear me?/)
well I be serving the customers...on the tills ..and maybe putting some tins out..ooh just in time for da xmas season..me likes working in coops xmas time..tis well fun..and da customers are so cool..
yep..me jolly welly jelly excited.
It also helps that most of the staff (managers/area managers were there when I worked for coop until 2002..so they knows cheeky lickle moi!!)

Co op gets my vote Penny. Somehting you can leave behind and regular hours. All other maybe when YOU are in better heath. Dont get involved in strange hours or shifts and things
You need just a day job.. easy that you know and time for yourself!
YES the Co op!
Love
Silks xxx

Oh gawd!1
Now I got letter from Adult Placement (the work I did before in care home)..
training seesions in october and november..
reason I applied again was because Thela who was my client has become unbalanced and walked out of her new carers..after a row and police were even called..she moved in with a chap called eric 2 weeks ago..then phoned me..
I have been trying to sort her money out with dss etc etc..and i am concerned if sh splits with this chap..she will be hoemelss and has no social worker etc..
so I alerted social services..sed..I will have thela on respite and for tea once a week.and that way i can there when Thela crumbles..
in order to do this I have to get through all th ADP courses again and be approved..
ah well..I spose i can still do the training it is 6-8 evenings and one day 10-3..but I shall tell them i now work for coop in the day weekdays.
