Meg, I'm sad to hear that no-one is acting upon your suspicions because it sounds as though the kennels has something to hide. If it had been a genuine accident, any decent kennels would have been only too keen to give you all of the information. Sounds like they salving their own conscience by offering you another dog. Just goes to show how little they understand about owners & their pets tho doesn't it, cos wee man wasn't just any old dog to you. It makes me so angry at the injustice of it, have you thought about giving your story to the local newspaper or maybe seeing if you can have a quiet word with one of the kennel maids in confidence.
