OOh ah say!

I got an email from my dutch penpal who I first wrote with in 1982..and the last 2 years since I left Portsmouth..moved to Cotswolds and then back to Portsmouth again..I sent her just a few notes only..I mean what exciting was there for me to write about!!!

This is the email I received..

Dear Carol,

I am sending you my letter and would love to receive a real letter from you in return! It is so long ago since you wrote a real letter, only short notes. I have the feeling that we are loosing contact in this way. Maybe you prefer the contacts that you have at Penny’s Place? Maybe it is better to just say that, so that I know what you really want. I am really interested in what is happening in your life, also because we know eachother for such a long time already. It would be a pity not to stay in touch!
