To easily remove the ">" or ">>" prefix symbols that appear in forwarded emails, copy and paste them into a Microsoft Word document, open the Edit menu and click on Replace. In the Find and Replace dialogue box, type ">" (without the quote marks) in the "Find what" box, then click on the Replace All button. The text is now free from those annoying prefixes and the clean passages can be copied and pasted into a new email to send it on, or wherever else you want to use it.
