1.   Highlight the item you want to cut and paste.

2.  (To highlight words click with your lefthand mouse button on the first part you want to highlight, HOLDING DOWN THAT BUTTON ALL THE TIME, drag to the end of the part where you want to stop highlighting).
3.  Once this has been highlighted, press CTRL+C to copy the highlighted item. (or go to EDIT on the menu bar if available and click on the word COPY).

4.  Check that the  cursor of your mouse is at the exact point where you want to place the copied section.

5.  Press CTRL+V to paste it in (or go to EDIT on the mousemenu bar if available

and click on the word PASTE.
