While I'm looking for my usb cord, I'll post my impressions.

Kinda cute. The face is vinyl and loose to hold the chewing mechanism. You will need 3 AA batteries. The battery pack is in the back and you have to take it completely out to put the batteries in. She makes a cute little "yum yum" tune as she eats her food (2 slices cake, 2 cookie slices, and 1 apple slice). You can retrieve the food from her "stomach" which is an opening in the front covered by fabric. These babies have panties and not pampers.

You must feed the baby upright and gently push the food in the mouth. Once it catches, she will "chew" and "swallow" by herself.

Oh, the battery pack has an on/off switch.

I never had any of the Mattel Snack Kids, but the PA kids don't seem to look weird in the face like the Mattel ones. The hair is rooted so you probably can comb it.
