To my mother, who I love and admire.
Your patience, compassion, and faith never tire.
I feel I have been blessed to have you for my mother, and to have a great dad, sister and two brothers. We all have fond memories of the duck we had for a pet. He was quite unusual because he didn't like to get wet.
We also had a big brown dog, who's name was Gus, and we all remember how he embarrassed us.
We had a home cooked meal every nite of the week, with meat, veggies and dessert to eat.
Our grand-parents and Aunt lived two blocks away. It was terrific to be able to see them every day.You have eight grand-children, and one great-grand-child, who you are very proud of. You never let them leave without a hug. I know I can count on you to be there, to listen, not to judge, because you truly care. You instinctively know the right thing to say, to make me feel better when I've had a rough day.
No matter what happens, or what life hands you, You have your faith to get you thru. I have learned so many things throughtout the years.. even when have shared our fears and shed some tears. You have taught me to respect and showed me how to love, But most important of all, to have faith in God above. I feel in my heart that you and I have a special bond, one that exists only between a daughter and a mom. Because of my faith, I believe, that we'll never part, since I will always have you close by me in my heart.
