Tomorrow morning I have a job interview (with a test) for a substitute teacher job at the little elem. school up the road where my kids went. I am very nervous about it. I really need the job and it would allow me to still be off when my kids are out of school, so please pray for me that it goes well and that my nervousness eases up. Thank you all.

Thank you all so much! It went great! They made me get finger printed and get a background check(that cost $48) and I pick up my id badge tomorrow morning. He said I would probably get a call this week to sub for somebody. I feel silly for being so nervous, but today it wasn't a problem. It made me laugh wondering what he would say if I told him I'd give the kids a forewarn growl or scentmark them. tee hee

Whoo hoo! I knew you'd do great! Can't wait to hear about your first class--maybe if you're lucky someone will take medical leave or something.

Woo hoo sister Sweetkat Fluffernutter!!!
Many congrats.    I can't remember - are elementary kids lethal to subs, or only older kids?   Just kidding.   You can handle them.  And they will love you!

We are all so proud of you!  Isn't getting fingerprinted kind of strange .... like, you KNOW you're not a criminal, but ...

Way to go sister Sweetkat Fluffernutter.  Hint: don't tell them your quirkie nickname until you have some sort of tenure, same goes for forwarning growl and scentmarking.

Well, I worked my first day today and it went great, better than great! This will be a good thing. Thank you all so much for your support and encouragement, it means more to me than you know. It's been a while since I felt like somebody was cheering for me, or even since I cheered for myself. It feels good, thank you.
