QUESTIONS

* The winner of the day before is responsible for the current day questions

* Questions must be posted by 4 pm eastern

* Sources for questions must be accessible to all players: not everyone has Dr.

    Clutton-Brock’s book on Flower or high-speed access to videos & audios

ANSWERS

* Answers must be in the form of a question

* Answers must be in one post only and cannot be changed

* If a question is not clear, ask for clarification

* No editing

* There is no cheating in meerkat jeopardy

SCORES

* Scores, and the answers, must be posted after 9:15 pm eastern

* The quizmaster may chose to give partial credit on a multi-part answer

* If there is more than one answer to a question, the one the quizmaster is looking for is

    the correct one

* The quizmaster may chose to accept alternative answers

* The quizmaster may chose to give sources for difficult questions

* The winner is the first person to achieve the highest score

Ooops - forgot that the new message containing the questions should have the date included in the subject line - somethig like "Jeopardy 1-27".  This will make it easier for players to find the right set of questions to answer.
 
And answers will be easier to find and score if they are replies to the question message.

Addendum To Scores    7/16/08
 
*  if a player posts his/here Time Zone, the time of posting

     answers will be adjusted based on their time zone;  the winner  

     will be the time-adjusted first person with the highest score

Correction to Addendum:
 
* Players must include their local time for posting answers;  the winner will be the person with the highest score and the earliest local time.
