IMPORTANT QUIRKIE ANNOUNCEMENT

OK kats....as you all know we are being forced into a burrow move early next year. Holly and Ratties have both foraged and found us two new homes.

In order to choose the best burrow, we decided that this Sunday we will play jeopardy at Holly's Forumcircle burrow for the week of 23-29 Nov. The link is http://quirkymeerkats.forumcircle.com/index.php Also sometine during the week we will schedule a Shoutbox chat, to see if it is really as good as Sister Witty thinks it will be.

Then the following Sunday we will play jeopardy at Ratties' Wetpaint burrow the week of 30 Nov-6 Dec. That link is http://quirkymeerkatjeopardy.wetpaint.com/

We felt that by having the games played over there would be a true test.

And everyone will get a chance to vote for their choice of burrows as this will be our new home.

Hopefully we get all the votes in by 22 DEC 2008. This will give us plenty of time to move our belongings to our new home.

ps: Sister Tosca just noticed that both test burrows have Quirkie spelled wrong. Hopefully it can be fixed.

I'm a member of both burrows

I just joined both sites.

I thought I could get into the Quirkie forum circle with my old id account but it didn't work. Will have to wait till Holly approves me there.

Both have possibilities but neither are as good as this site. This site with all its quirkiness was perfect for us. Sniff, separation anxiety setting in.

I'm staying with multiply for Whiskers World, the blog format is becoming more and more popular and I like it better than Live Journal or MySpace or Facebook. The more I use it the more I understand it.

Hey Loving, I know I do not have the time frame to play jeopardy but I would love to be a memebr of which ever site you guys go with, I did join Hollys burrow and I will go look for Ratties. Thanks for the update.

We totally understand Millie....you are welcome no matter which burrow we decide on...

This sounds exciting. Both burrows are nice and it will be hard to choose. I will miss this burrow, though, Even with it's quirkiness, it's been easy for me to use. Oh well, the next burrow will be great, too.

Daisy dear, remember that we will hve lots of little boxes to pack your wardrobe, and a roomy sled pulled by Seattle Slew to cary the boxes and the pups and even us to the new burrow. I will help you pack. It will be okay, dear.
