Woohoo! Sounds like we will have a good time tonight.

Just a note, I'm having a bit of a computer problem. The last few days when I click reply on here to make a post it takes a few minutes for the reply box to come up. I'm not sure why. It's either MSN or my dial up making it so slow. I just hope it doesn't take too long tonight when I am trying to post my answers. I know we have a half hour for the first round, so hopefully I can get my answers posted in time.

Good luck to you all tonight!

Yo

Yeah I notice MSN has been a bit, eh Quirkie.

Well you can copy and paste the Regular Round 10 questions, answer them and then paste them back on MSN.   I'd do that anyway just so you don't loose your answers.

Challenge round is 5 questions but if you don't want to answer it you can reach in or dig in and grab a question/bug to replace one.

You'll have to tell me the point value of the question you are replacing for the scoring.

So OK everyone gets scored on the first round.  5 highest scores go to the Challenge Round.

Challenge Round

There's 5 questions to answer but if there is one that is really bugging you, you ask me to supply you with an alternate question for the same amount of points.

So I will ask the 5 questions on MSN Messenger and then you post your answers on at a time, highest scorer first, next, next...

Before I ask you to post your answers each of you can ask me to dig into the grab bag for an alternate question for the same amount of points.

Catch is you must answer the grab bug question right away or it will get away leaving you with a big 0 points.

Next you make your bets after  you receive your Challenge points.

Hightest first
2
3
4
Lowest

Final Jeopardy question will be posted on the Quirkie Board.  You have just one minute to complete and post your answer.  Time will be a tie-breaker if necessary.

Hope all this makes sense and I hope it will be fun for all..

I always copy and paste questions to a word document. It's easier that way.

I thought as soon as you post questions I will click the reply and give it time to open the reply box while I am digging for answers. Then I won't have to wait on it when I am ready to post.

I hope I understand all your instructions.

"Oh nooooooooooo!" screams Daisy.   "I've missed the Jeopardy Tournament!  I didn't even see an announcement!  What, oh what was i doing so that i missed the announcement?"  and then she promptly (and quite expectedly) faints - her festive hat with the fruit atop sliding off her head and rolling down the dune into a bolthole.

Poor sweet Daisy!    We asked each other last night where you were and why you weren't playing.   I so sorry, I will scream and faint in sympathy.  And then I will rescue your bewtiful hat.

Rousing herself, Daisy plaintively beeps, "Is my hat okay, Tosca-Quirkie?"

Daisy darling, your hat is fine. I caught it before it went down the bolthole very far.  I brushed off the sand and stray millipede legs, and fluffed up your pineapple.   Come over here and let me place it back on your pretty head.

That's okay guys, I missed it too. I got sick Saturday afternoon. I thought it was something I ate. Turns out I have a really badly infected cyst/abcess on my scalp that I thought was a cut that just hurt like hell. Finally have antibiotics and the fever is gone but it still is.....gross....really gross.  I screamed and fainted when I saw it. Then I screamed and fainted when the dermatologist cultured it. I'm sure I'll scream and faint when I get the bill, too.

Poor Kathyh3       Be sure to wear your can-can skirt (the can-can is the official Quirkie dance) when you get the bill - it will cushion your fall when you scream and faint.
