FAIRFIELD, Conn. (AP) - Residents of the neighborhood of Sunset Circle say they have been terrorized by a crazy cat named Lewis. Lewis for his part has been uniquely cited, personally issued a restraining order by the town's animal control officer.
"He looks like Felix the Cat and has six toes on each foot, each with a long claw," Janet Kettman, a neighbor said Monday. "They are formidable weapons."
The neighbors said those weapons, along with catlike stealth, have allowed Lewis to attack at least a half dozen people and ambush the Avon lady as she was getting out of her car.
Some of those who were bitten and scratched ended up seeking treatment at area hospitals.
Animal Control Officer Rachel Solveira placed a restraining order on him. It was the first time such an action was taken against a cat in Fairfield.
In effect, Lewis is under house arrest, forbidden to leave his home.
Solveira also arrested the cat's owner, Ruth Cisero, charging her with failing to comply with the restraining order and reckless endangerment

That is too funny! When my Piu was alive I had to warn visitors that they shouldn't touch her because she bites. Really though, Lewis' owner should trim his claws if they're that bad. I'm glad he's under house arrest so no one can hurt him.

I bet CR is very proud of Lewis!

My cat Jason used to scare away burglars and chase large dogs, but he only bit veterinarians when they tried to give him shots.

Oh my!!! If he is that nasty mean, I really am surprised no one has taken matters into their own hands yet. Ya know how some people are.

This is the very epitome of a CRIMP graduate!  CR is very proud i am sure.  Jeepers, that is a very hostile cat.  And definitely must be kept under house arrest.  His owner was very rightly arrested.

tee hee that is too funny... Devil Kitty is like that he hides in the bushes and when ever someone walks by he will swat at their feet and if a dog happens to be attached to the person the dog gets it also.  Some dogs now know where he is sometimes and try to drag hoomans in the opposite direction...
