Down 6.1% today!  OK-I get it-the market doesn't like Obama!    They lost Paulson the "hand out man"!

Too freakin bad!

Been- i have been trying to talk them out of it for years.  but they are both in their mid-80's, and long time IBM employees, so.......

i just don't get it, personally.  but i DID get them to diversify.  at one point they were over 90% in IBM!

IBM is good at manipulating their numbers to make them look good.  The latest good numbers reflect cost cutting which means labor cutting.  They do it endlessly.  To them its constantly turning their satellite dish towards the current business-thats their spin.  They are moving all they can overseas!

I have IBM friends out of RTP (some on the way out) with many years of lead experience (who took a big hit on their changing pension plan a while back) on some of their best products and services over decades, who think their days of "excelling" are really numbered.

Starting to cut muscle and bone now (leaving upper management only targeting bonuses for themselves) at the expense of longterm health!!  The day will come when this company pays for several years of shuffling cards and conjuring magic tricks!

But for this quarter-looks good!  This is about as far out as we have been brainwashed to look at them anymore!  If your a trader in this only, I guess thats OK.  Past gains do not ensure future performance-LOL!

I did too Scott-can we get Congress to freeze their salaries?-LOL (snicker)!  he is a liberal, but looks very pragmatic and inclusive to me!

These executive orders signal that the whole ballgame has changed with the administration change.  Don't think Obama will begin to everything done we would hope for-reality will set in!  Setbacks will show up along the way!

I just want to see progress on multiple fronts with us in the thought process-I am getting that!

I am amazed how fast this new administration is getting reconstituted and up and running-desperately need a quick rollover here!

I did make all of yesterdays back and a little for me!

Up 7.2%.  Almost everything up! Some big!

Drug leaders:  AMAG, BMRN, CVTX-somethings up with CVTX (volume, chart). Others add a bit.
Resource leaders:  ANR, CLF, NXG, HL (HL trade coming along)
Oil leaders:  CNQ, ECA, SU (that trade came back from dumb to ahead in SU).

Throw in HIL, MELI, V, and SSW and it was a good comeback day for me.

Good evening to all!
