it is the ultimate value hunter's dream finding stocks that have as much cash as they have market value. IT IS VERY RARE. in fact, before this year, you almost never saw it. but it happens a LOT these days. please feel free to add stocks that are selling AT OR NEAR CASH in PPS. do NOT list stocks that have NOT sold for less than 2x cash in the last (30) days, please. TY, macro |

usually the company with no cash buys a company with cash.(dumb i know)
will see how this plays out Something tells me CAAH is the buyer of OPBL but i could be wrong and its the other way around. Or this is just a freaky mistake. MASSIVE volume on CAAH today. Wish it was OPBL with massive volume. I don't own CAAH shares unless they give me some for owning OPBL. |

btw OPBL "the company" is free and clear of any thing you might read about any litigations. Not quite the case for some of the people,planning to "fight",alligations.April 2nd 2009 for that deal.That is the pre trial date.That is a civil matter. |

quickly OPBL: Cash and cash equivalents $ 9,305,496
52,428,203 shares issued
plus 2 million into platform
there is alot of value here. Sales efforts were a cost of 236,000 but no mention of the results.YET That's alot of effort. |

specifically cash=.177
platform=.038
total=.2157 cents per share.
I valued the platform at cost.Developement cost.This is something special you cannot just buy off the self somewhere.
Let me explain.If i buy a brand new back hoe and it cost me 500,000.That is the value.Put a driver on digging from sun up to sun down and thru the night,charging big money.That back hoe is a profit machine.I didn't account for this.The results from future digging sales are unclear. Simple example.
Same applies to the platform.Unique platform though.Not simple.. Plug a bunch of clients in and charge fees,for this and fees for that.Platform =profit machine .I didn't account for this.Not sure what sales are going forward. Bottom line. Platform = .038 cents per share.COST,Unique developement cost.
There are patents here.Not sure how to value them. |

Correcting typo: Eliminate the word self replace with shelf.. Platform=Something special you cannot just buy off the shelf somewhere. |

well done, Scotty. i think these buyouts are a good investment. there was one several years ago for a steel company. the stock consistently sold 10% below buyout, and twice, it fell another 10% during the period. it was easy money, with very little risk. |
