Onion Chicken Teasers

 

Ingredients:


1 pouch dry onion soup and recipe mix

2/3 cup dry bread crumbs OR cracker crumbs

1/8 tsp. pepper

1 egg OR 2 egg whites

2 tbsp. water

6 skinless boneless chicken breast halves OR 12 boneless chicken thighs (about 1 1/2 pounds)

2 tbsp. margarine OR butter melted (optional)

Directions:


SLICE chicken into 2 inch strips.

CRUSH soup mix in pouch with rolling pin. Mix soup mix, bread crumbs and pepper on plate.

MIX egg and water in shallow dish. Dip chicken into egg mixture. Coat with crumb mixture.

PLACE chicken on baking sheet. Drizzle with margarine. Bake at 400°F. for 15-20 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink.

TIP: For 2/3 cup cracker crumbs, finely crush 16 saltine crackers.
