Recipe: Holiday Bath Salts

Use this blend as a wonderful gift to yourself or another special lady on your gift list.  Men you can make these too!  And wouldn't she just love you for it!

4-6 drops peppermint oil,
2-3 drops red food coloring
2 Cup epsom salts
1/2 Cup sea salt

Place 1 cup of epsom salt and 1/4 cup sea salt in a bowl.  Add 2-3 drops peppermint oil.

Place the remaining ingredients in a second bowl.

This will give you one bowl white salts and one bowl red salts.

Mix both bowls of ingredients well.

Layer the salts in a clear bottle or jar alternating colors.

Place the lid on the jar and then put a paper doily over the lid, tie a red and green ribbon and a candy cane or other holiday decoration around the lid/doily.  With the red and white layering, it makes an attractive presentation.

Since peppermint is such an energizing scent perhaps it's a good one to use at Christmas which is such a busy time of year.
