Dear Heavenly Father,

 

Even though I fail you time after time, You remain steadfast and faithful to me.  Never once have You let me down.  Again I come to You with a need.  My dear, dear friend Trina is hurting, and I feel so helpless and insignificant.  I do not wish for the kindest heart I have known in the last several months to be tested to this measure.  It all makes no sense to me, and I have to ask why?  Whenever I have been at my lowest points, this child of Yours has pulled me out and pushed me in the right direction.  When she is troubled, or afraid, I am too...  Please dearest Father, temper her trials with internal peace so that she can rest and be the stronghold she is to many people, not just myself.  Give her joy that cannot be taken away by worldly torment.  Ease some of her pain, with the power that only You posses.

 

This I ask in Your Holy and Gracious Name.
