Hello Groupies,
Happy New Year 2009!!! I trust you all had wonderful holidays and have been doing well with your resolutions. I am attempting to abide by mine but we all know how it goes! I have been really sick for the last month and things are moving really slow because of it.
We will be moving to our new home by February 1, 2009. The new site address: RSD, Chronic Pain and Depression is HERE. I had hoped to make the move for January as that is our anniversary but I have been horribly ill and Normalee went on a cruise so she has been rather out of touch! I hear from her occasionally when she pops in to the computer terminal on the ship and gets online. Cell phones don't seem to work so well! Also, I have crashed the site twice in the last three weeks and you sure don't want to hear about that frustration!
We are currently setting up the message boards and tweaking the main site. Once I figure out all the details (and quit crashing the site) we will be ready. I will be posting our saved information over there on a regular basis as to how much I can be up during each day. My eyes are going really bad and there are days I can not see things at all. Those are the worst days and they've been getting more frequent! I was given 18 months 14 months ago before I would lost my sight. I keep hoping and attempting to save my eyes by resting and not overdoing the computer work which seems to make things worse.
So be on your toes and watch out for the notification email that you will all be receiving in the near future. I already have added all the current members to the new site (you may be receiving notices of posts and stuff from there since you are on the record books already) and I am not accepting more members to this group here until we've moved. If you do not get a notification email from us by January 20, 2009 (which means I do not have a current email address for you) then please make sure you send me your email address or just pop in and join.
Also, we have decided to open our group to members of another group which may decide to join with us. Normalee and I have known these people for quite some time and we have no problem if they wish to hop a'board'.
