Hi Kyle,

I know how rough on you this whole thing is.  You feel like you have to stop being your age and grow up faster.  You take on more responsibility and have deeper feelings and more understanding of pain syndromes than other kids your age.  It's really not fair.  When you are in the situation it almost seems like your stuffed in a barrel and told to sit in a corner doesn't it?  Only one problem, and you're smart enough to figure it out, there are no corners!  Each day, things will get easier, they don't go away, but there is the possibility of RSD going into remission, that is the hope each RSD sufferer always hangs onto, that's why they always try to stay in the best shape they can.  But the hope that you must hang on to that will get you through the hardest things all the way through your life, is the same stuff that you already have that has seen you through some already tough times in your life.  You possess some coping skills of your own that perhaps you don't know yet, and it's those that will enable you to keep going.  Not that it will make you not want to stuff the RSD into a can, I'd back you up on that 100% on that, RSD is absolutely no fun for anyone.  It hurts a lot more people than just who it afflicts.  But there is power in hope for tomorrow and sweetheart hang on to your power, don't let the RSD take that away.

I was surfing for a special picture and had a hard time finding one so I hope the one I am including is alright.  I will keep looking for others, my search is not ended for more dear.   You hang tight, your dreams can still come true!

                                       Love, Summer
