Greetings,

The inspiration behind this board is a child.  One who lives with the effects of chronic pain.  Not a personal sufferer but a helper of one.  A daughter, a son, a neice, a nephew, a grandchild or a step-child.  All children are affected by parental suffering too.  They carry the left-over responsibilities that chronic pain persons cannot handle.  Their burdens are heavier than most.  They not only grow up faster, but they also learn from a young age the struggles of illness and unexplained conditions.  However. these children are not broken by this, they are determined to make a difference in this world.  They come out with deeper understanding and convictions.  They harness a deeper respect for others at an earlier age.  These are the leaders of tomorrow.  It is these children that will make a difference in the lives of many future pain patients.  To them we say "hats off" and "thank you".  To them we say "We Love You".  To them we say, "Welcome" from our hearts to yours.
