More than a measure of pain, the RCPS has proven to be a very
effective communications tool.  Because they use their own
vocabulary to describe their experience of pain, many people tell me
they felt "heard" for the first time after sharing it with their
doctors and received better pain treatment as a result.  I hope
it proves helpful to your members.
