Dear Gayle,
I apologize for not getting back to you sooner.
You are welcome to put a link pointing to the Randall Chronic
Pain Scale (RCPS) in your medical information section so your
group members can use it if they wish. Reprinting the tool itself
online isn't allowed. The link is
http://www2.rpa.net/~lrandall/painscale.html More than a measure of pain, the RCPS has proven to be a very
effective communications tool. Because they use their own
vocabulary to describe their experience of pain, many people tell me
they felt "heard" for the first time after sharing it with their
doctors and received better pain treatment as a result. I hope
it proves helpful to your members.
Your site is very nice. I enjoyed visiting it. Bless you for
providing a helpful resource for people who suffer from chronic
pain and the various conditions such as RSD which cause it. I
placed a link to you on InfoMIN under Reflex Sympathetic
Dystrophy (RSD) on the home page at
http://www2.rpa.net/~lrandall/index.html and, directly, on the
RSD page
http://www2.rpa.net/~lrandall/rsd.html Have a gentle day,
Lois
