Hi to everyone,

My name is Tami and my husband has RSD. He has had it for about 1 1/2 yrs and we are still waiting for a spinal stimulator but dealing with workmans comp so you know how that goes. I am a grandmother of a 1 1/2yr old beautiful girl and she is pop pop's little angel. I don't know many people who are family or friends of someone in chronic pain. I work full time during the day and don't really go anywhere since my husband can't go. I fight depression everyday and try to fill my time with something possitive but my energy level is pretty low. I have felt so helpless that it became overwhelming so I joined another RSD support group and became an assistant manager there. It makes me feel better to talk with others about it all and to help out the site in some kind of way. I am so inexperienced in this kind of thing and our group is not very supportive. Normalee and Summer have graciously invited me to join here and maybe help me with some support and ideas. I love how this group is put together and how it is run. There is more activity here which is very important to a support group. I am looking forward to meeting you all and hopefully learn a lot so I can continue the support for others out side of this group. I really am a newby to RSD since my husband and I have finally started excepting it instead of denying it. I just feel pretty numb right now and in need of something to lift me up again. I am grateful to make new friends.

Thank so much
Tami
