My significant other is the RSD sufferer. I suffer from a back injury which keeps me down when I overdo it, but nothing like RSD. I know how bad Karen hurts, I have seen people in lot more pain than me. She is the primary breadwinner in our family as I run a seasonal business, well it makes money only seasonally. She loves her job and has been haveing a hard time dealing with the fact that she may have to leave it. She also carries the insurance on our family and that would be tough to pay for out of our pocket.
We have been together for most of our adult life. We moved to Fla. many years ago to get away from the snow. It was also easier to go boating in water, instead of snow. I love my boats. Karen likes the water too and the warmer weather. Fortunately, its easier on her to be in the warm but wehn it gets really hot its not so good. Win some, lose some I guess.
i joined this group to learn more about RSD and how to best support Karen as she goes through the changes that are inevtible. Thank you for haveing me.
