Listen

It's raining.......shhhhhh, listen!

Lean your head back against your chair.  Close your eyes.......listen!

Hear the crickets?  It will be a warm, gentle rain.  Your shoulder muscles are relaxing.......listen!

What do you hear?  Do you hear the raindrops softly splashing on the sidewalk?  Do you hear them tapping on the metal downspouts?

Wait!  Do you hear the frogs?  Quite a symphony you've become privy to, huh?

Your arms and back are joining in on the therapy.  Listen!  What's that?  It's the Loon's singing their lullabye.  Such gentle creatures!

Listen!  There's a female Robin out there.  She must be telling her young ones about all the food she's finding for them.  Sure sounds like it.

Your body is entirely relaxed now.  You've been listening to the warmth of Mother Nature and She has calmed your storms.
