Welcome to the new home of Old Hags & Old Farts! I'm proud to welcome you to the new home of Old Hags & Old Farts! I hope y'all will enjoy your time with us in here. Yes, this site is a bit different from what you're used to in MSN, but I really don't think you will have much trouble adapting to it. If you have any problems please feel free to email me at [email protected]. Please be sure to state, in the subject line, that you're writing me regarding trouble you're having in the new site. (Because of all the virus problems a computer can get I don't open emails from email addresses that I don't recognize, so please remember to tell me in the subject line why you're emailing me.) If I don't recognize your email address being from someone I know then I probably won't open it. I will be glad to help you as much as needed so that you can navigate around in here without problems. I would even be glad to give you a phone call and talk you through any problems you may come upon. No, I'm not expecting y'all to have a mess of trouble in here, but I'm sure there will be a few. I could even meet you in chat and help you while we talk in there. One of the things that's important to remember and that will make things easier on you in here is to remember to always click on 'Reply' before posting anything.....and then click on 'Post Reply' when you're done with the post. Never click on 'New Topic' unless you're starting a new discussion in 'General Discussion.' When you are posting a 'Reply' it doesn't matter if you click on the 'Reply' at the top right or bottom right of the page. You can click on either one of the 'Reply' buttons and your message will go in the right place. Ok, guess that's about it for now. Just remember that I'm more than willing to help you get a handle on how to navigate in here. All ya gotta do is ask. Y'all take care! Moki | | | | | | | |

Meet The Manager's Cylene Moki Hi! Yep, here I am! I just turned 60 in 2008. I have a 25 year old son who finished seminary in June and also works for Apple. He is my only child and will be getting married in September 2009. I am really, really, really excited about this wedding. My daughter-in-law to be is wonderful and absoutely gorgeous. She feels more like my own daughter than a daughter-in-law. Then there's a 12 year old Umbrella Cockatoo who I've had since a few days after she hatched. Her nickname became Ms Chicken because the first sounds she started to make sounded like a chicken. That nickname has stuck with her and she's still known as Ms Chicken or Ms Chickie. She talks a blue streak and alot of my friends don't know if it's me yelling "Come in" when they ring my doorbell or if it's Ms Chickie. LOL!! I no longer work as my doc's disabled me almost 13 years ago. I have all sorts of stuff wrong with me but the things that generally argue with me over whether my body is going to do what I want it to or not are Myasthenia Gravis, Fibromyalgia, Osteoporosis, & alot of major muscle damage from a cholesterol lowering drug that has been taken off of the market now. I have a powerchair I use to get around in unless I'm going moe than a few miles. Then I'll drive my car. I try not to drive too much lately because the MG is causing me alot of problems with my eye muscles. I'm ok driving on the single lane streets but I do NOT drive highways & freeways anymore. I'm basically happy with where I'm at in my life right now. I mean geez, we're all going to have up's and downs in our lives, right? What's important to remember is not to take things all that seriously. None of us will be getting out of life alive so why not take as much of it with us, in the form of memories, as we can? Get out there and experience everything you want. We're going to have times where things get pretty bleak looking for us, but if we spend our time focusing on the positive side of things instead of the negative side, we will be able to do and see more & more before our lives come to an end. I've done alot of volunteer work for abused women and rape victims for almost 40 years now. It's really neat to see these poor women blossom right before your eyes. They change from meek, scared to death, little waif's into strong, in control of their lives, full-blown women in a short period of time. Those changes make me know that staying with this ideal for so many years is the right direction for me to be pointed in. I try to 'be there' for everyone that has given me the priviledge of being their friends. I really think that if the folks in this world would go back to taking care of each other, watching out for their families, friends and neighbors, we would all be in better physical and mental condition. If we would simply & honestly care about each other again, and pitch in lending a hand when we see people in need of something, things would not be going where they have been for the past several years. Somewhere along the line we've forgotten how important family and friends are and have become so money hungry that we can hardly see anything outside of those big ol' dollar signs. | | | | | Moki Raentree with graphics from the public domain. Meet The Manager's Cylene This is our Cylene. The owner of Windz Of Changez and a Manager. We're all very fond of her and she's one of the sweetest folks I've ever met. She looks after all of us like she was our mother so ya best be good or she will send you a bag of sticks for Christmas! Nah, not really! But she's one of the kindest, loving, sweetest folks you'll ever meet. She's 58, lives in Florida and totally enjoys spoiling her grand daughters. Moki This is Moki. She's a Manager in Windz Of Changez and truly tries to help everyone she comes upon. She's 60, lives in California, & enjoys spoiling her Umbrella Cockatoo. Word has it that that bird speaks better English than Moki does! LOL!! The Assistant Managers are Dar, Granky, Karen & Joan. They're all very loving and caring women that all of you will love. As soon as they get their pictures to me I'll include them in this introduction! Until then, gentle winds of peace to you! | | | | | M.N. Raentree with graphics from the public domain.
