A Few Lines On Dancing
There's a balmy feeling in the air tonight, and the sky is as black as coal. The Santa Anna winds have been brisk this past week and they have blown the scent of the ocean up this way. It happens every year, just shortly before Fall.
The Sandpipers venture inland during this time. I go to Bodega Bay once a year with a gentleman friend of mine and we spend hour upon hour watching the Sandpipers run along the beach. They bring such a joyful feeling to my heart. I can feel it as they scurry to and fro, across the ever changing grains of sand that the oceans waves wash onto the shore.
When you were a child, did you ever spend time on a beach, running out to meet an incoming wave, and then let it chase you back up through the shoreline, as you danced over the breaking tide? I don't know what it is about dancing in the breaking tide, but, it's a natural high for me.
While talking with my friend this evening, he asked if I was ready to go dancing, so I know he will be coming for a visit soon. I'm looking forward to it, as I've been ready for some dancing for quite awhile now.
May y'all dance through your dreams tonight!!
Good night!!
