Sunset's come to paint the sky again. Another example of
Mother Nature's beautiful hands.
Then there's the lullaby the birds, crickets and frogs are singing to me.
Close our eyes .....
Relax.....
Listen with your heart.....
Hear it?
Ahhhhh, there's a wolf up above me on the mountain.
She's calling her young.
Listen.....
I can hear the deer rustlling in the brush.
The owls are setting up their night time sentrys.
Hoot, hoot.....Hoot, hoot.....
All is as it should be up and down the mountain.
As I sit here watching the flames dance in my campfire,
I hear a night hawk calling out. And then another one.
They must be watching their prey.
Leaning back against a tree trunk I gaze up into the trees shrouded in darkness and begin
to listen to an owl.
He may well be telling all of Mother Nature's young ones his bedtime story of the Circle of Life.
A soft breeze is lilting through my campsite now.
It has turned the dancing flames of my campfire into the glowing embers that will warm me throughout the night.
My eyelids are getting heavier and heavier as the crickets sing me into a blissful sleep.
Good night Mother Nature.
Thank you Great Spirit!
