Soft As A Cloud Sour Cream Biscuits
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. commercial sour cream
1/4 c. half & half
Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, soda & salt, stir well. Combine sour cream & half & half, add to flour mixture, stirring w/a fork until dry ingredients are moistened. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface & knead lightly 4 or 5 times. Roll dough to 1/2" thickness & cut w/a floured 2" biscuit cutter. Place biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet, bake at 425 F. for 8 to 10 mins.
