Chocolate Coffee

 

1 c. water

2 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate

1/4 c. sugar

2 tbsp. instant coffee powder

Dash salt

3 c. milk

Whipped cream

 

In saucepan combine water, chocolate, sugar, instant coffee powder & salt, stir over low heat just till chocolate melts. Gradually add milk to chocolate mixture, stirring constantly. When piping hot, but not boiling, remove mixture from heat & beat w/rotary beater till frothy.

To serve, pour chocolate coffee into cups or mugs. Spoon a dollop of whipped cream atop each serving.
