If you're tired of normal lemonade, looking for a different take on the idea,  try these recipes.  I've tried all of them and on a hot summer day, they're ALL lifesavers in my book!  I believe I orgininally found them in a Men's Fitness magazine a few years back...

Start with...
CLASSIC LEMONADE:
Place 1 1/2 cups of freshly squeezed lemon juice (from about 12 lemons), 1/2 cup sugar and 1 cup water in a large pitcher.  Stir until sugar dissolves, then add 5 more cups of water, a few slices of lemon to garnish, and plenty of ice.
(into the following remakes, you can leave out the slices of lemon, or keep them in, your choice)...

TROPICAL LEMONADE:
Add to the classic recipe:
two 6-oz cans of pineapple juice, one 12-oz can or apricot nectar, and two 12-oz cans of gingerale.

GINGER ZINGER:
Add to the classic recipe:
one 3-inch piece of fresh ginger (peeled and grated), and 1/4 cup honey (play around with the different types of honey local to your geography to make it your own!).

FARMER'S LEMONADE:
Add to the classic recipe:
one 16-oz pkg fresh strawberries (stemmed and pureed), and 1 cup heavy cream.

LEMON-MINT COOLER:
Add to the classic recipe:
1 cup fresh torn mint leaves and two 12-oz cans club soda.
