Meals at Di's Diner week of June 11-17

Last weeks meals.
Sunday:
Breakfast, Hannah made pancakes.
Lunch? I don't make LUNCH ON WEEKENDS!!! Everyone for themselves!
There was some egg salad and tuna salad , ham salad leftover from Glen's lunches.. They each ate what they likes best.
Peanut butter and jelly ROCKS!!!
Supper: Steak and pork chops grilled.
Foiled baked frozen obrien potatoes, frozen veggies with extra carrotts added.
Plate of tomatoes and onions
Head of lettuce for make yourself salads.
I don't make dessert unless I have to..
I got out my bag of Dove dark chocolates and SHARED THE BAG WITH EVERYONE....

Monday:
Time got away from me: I had out a pound of hamburger....
It was suppose to become a crockpot spanish rice dish...
Well... It became taco meat instead with the spanish rice and corn on the side. Turned out okay, though.. Time got away from me Thursday night also and it became something else...
Family used store bought taco shells..
I usually make my own.

Tuesday:
Hot dogs and chili, extra beans. Leftover corn.
Mixed and mircowaved.
Hot dogs still from that hot dog meal from church...
Believe it or not... The last container in my freezer from a Chili Lenten dinner......
Extra beans because there were EXTRA PEOPLE SITTING AT THE TABLE!

Wednesday:
Finally I'm home!!!
Skin-on and bone-in chicken breasts.
Crockpotted with real carrotts and potatoes.
Celery and onions.
Extra broth to cook the egg noodles in...
Extra Chicken will become something else NEXT WEEK

Thursday:
Taco pie
Taco meat, spanish rice, 2 tubes crescent rolls
Deep dish pie dish, crescent rolls as crust, taco meat, any hot dog stuff.. rice, extra seasonings and crushed totrita chips...
Okay, OLD TORTITA CHIPS I FOUND IN THE BACK OF THE CUPBOARD!

Friday:
No one home!
Glen ate with a biker friend who was suppose to go with on the biker trip in a week.. But, he had to change his plans..
Hannah at a friend, Elise was with her boyfriend and Mavis likes her old lady cat food just fine, thank you...
All the leftovers got PUT IN THE FREEZER OR FED TO THE GARBAGE DISPOSAL!!!!

Boss is having a graduation party for their daughter this evening.
We'll eat there.

Wednesday:
Baked ham. I need the ham for a salad I have to make next week. I'll bake it early in the day when it's not so hot and slice off what I want and cube up and freeze rest for next week.
Since the oven will be on anyway... Baked potates. Enough for a potatoe salad and a twice mashed/almost rebaked thingy... (Mircowaved!)
Family will have the potatoe salad, cold ham saladwiches, lettuce salad. Or, whatever they want with the ham.. Chef salad's, mircowave it, Georgie Forman it, grill it, I don't care...

Thursday:
Turkey breast, gravy and fresh breads, cole slaw salad.
Some kind of frozen veggie...
I need to make turkey supreme for Monday, crockpotting the breasts today.

Friday:
Glen gone on bike trip.
Elise will make her sister and herself something..
Now, we really can talk about junk food! RAMON NOODLES RULE FOR THESE GIRLS!!! I suppose they're not so bad every once in a while.....
If they don't reheat some of the leftovers, these go in freezer well marked for another week...
Or, the garbage dispoal enjoys another good meal!

Again, no one home but us GIRLS!!!
Hannah goes to camp Sunday. I'm thinking Papa Murphy's pizza, her favorite..

Glen is home and so are my 2 oldest kids and their spouses.
Turkey supreme, ham and pea pasta salad, twice baked, sorta potatoes.
Cut veggies and all that stuff.
Fresh melons

Tuesday:
All meals this week at planned for Elise and Glen, however.. You know how a girlfriend in love goes.......
Hmmm.....
Frozen pork ribs from a couple weeks ago.
Cut up and extra barb-q sauce.
Any leftover salads and melons, cut veggies.

Homemade Meatballs from freezer.
Canned spagetti sauce.

Thursday:
Fishwiches on Mister George.
Finish up any fruits...

Saturday:
Hannah comes home, this is another travel day for someone other than me..
Glen and I are planning to go on a short bike trip when he gets home, if he feels like and so do I after work and a wedding later in the day.
We'll probably stay home and head out after church Sunday morning.

Even though I'll have alot of easy mircowave dishes in the freezer for them...

I suppose a week of cereal, I only BUY TOTAL for a reason!!!!
Ramon noodles, Ordered in pizza... Hot dogs, and cracker and cheese..
Oh.. THEY DO LOVE PEANUT BUTTER AND BANANA AND APPLES!!!
Sandwiches.. Yes, sandwiches....
I've always thought.. HEY, IF THEY ATE IT!!! GREAT!!!!!
I wouldn't even care if they ate the peanut butter by the spoonful!

Hannah's 1st part of her barces is the 5th...
So, it's soup around here and soft stuff for awhile....
Di's Diner will be ON VACATION!!!
