Time & Temp In Toronto at this time  is.....

Click for Toronto, Ontario Forecast

How is everyone this morning?

Everything seems pretty good from where I am looking at it!...lol

FINALLY!....Hockey IS over for this year.

Something about hockey in June, when there is no snow on the ground,.... just does NOT turn my crank! It bores me anyway...

The "Walk" today was borrrrrrrrring too!

We did see a cop with a pick-up pulled over and the guy was in the back of the cruiser. Also saw a tow-truck pull up BUT we didn't hang around to see what was going to happen.

I wore a light jacket this morning and had to take it off and carry it!

Tomorrow I think (if the weather man knows what he is talking about)....I will have to go out naked!!!!!! Real scarry thought, that is..lol

They are tootin' that with the humidex....it will be 37'c........I have abso-freaking'-lutely no idea what that is BUT it makes me sweat....just typing it....let alone feeling it.

First call tomorrow will NOT have the a/c on, I know that. Not because he is old BUT because he is tooooooo tight/cheap!

Second place tomorrow has "trained me in the art of operation"....of his thermostat!!!

Today now,..... is another story.

He will have his pant legs tucked into the top of his socks......and wearing a sweater.........& the heat will STILL be on!

Second place today....will have the heat on too BUT no-one will be home so I turn everything off and throw open the doors & windows!

Yesterday went sooooooo smooth!

(needed a day like that)

First call,($30-parking ticket place downtown, remember?),... went out to a Doctors' appointment about 8:00,...(I start there @ 7:30)...so didn't have him home bothering me...she works, but went with him yesterday.

Second place when I got there about 11:30.....she was still in bed.....so I tossed in a load of laundry.......first offand went straight to work from there!!!

I promised here I would add somemore Ram to her computor for her....did that AFTER I had done the main floor!....(kitchen, den, living/dining room, & a powder room & vaccumed the basement area)...by that time....the 1st. load of laundry was ready to be folded and the 2nd. was in the dryer....

That was about the time she crawled out of bed!!!!(2:30-ish!) She grabbed a yogurt & a glass of orange juice, wrote my cheque & was out the door!

I finished up, made her bed...threw her dirty bed sheets in the washer.....then it was MY turn to head out the door!..lol

Hit the grocery store for bread & milk...$38 later......,... I came home & put a chicken in the oven and that along with some potato salad, macaroni salad, sliced cucs & some "very old" cheese....was supper!!

I settled down for some "me" time in front of the television.

Watched "e-talk, Jeopardy, & So Ya Think Ya Can Dance"..then went to bed.

Now I think I have come to that point where it is time to say....

Have a great day.

Take Care.

Be Safe.

Prayers To Those in Need!

Golden Corral Rolls........
1 envelope active dry yeast
1/4 cup very warm water
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup scalding hot milk
1 egg, lightly beaten
4 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons melted butter or margarine, for brushing rolls

Sprinkle the yeast over very warm water in a large bowl.

(Very warm
water should feel comfortably warm when dropped on wrist.)

Stir until
yeast dissolves.

Add sugar, the 1/4 cup butter or margarine and salt to hot milk and stir
until the sugar dissolves and butter or margarine is melted.

Cool
mixture to 105 to 115 degrees F.

Add milk mixture to yeast, then beat in egg.

Beat in 4 cups of the
flour, 1 cup at a time, to form a soft dough.

Use some of the remaining
1/2 cup of the flour to dust a pastry cloth.

Knead the dough lightly for 5 minutes, working in the remaining flour
(use it for flouring the pastry cloth and your hands).

Place dough in a warm buttered bowl; turn greased side up.

Cover and let
rise in a warm place until doubled in bulk, about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours.

Punch dough down and knead 4 to 5 minutes on a lightly floured pastry
cloth.

Dough will be sticky, but use as little flour as possible for
flouring your hands and the pastry cloth, otherwise the rolls will not
be as feathery light as they should be.

Pinch off small chunks of dough and shape into round rolls about 1 1/2
to 1 3/4-inches in diameter.

Place in neat rows, not quite touching, in
a well-buttered 13- x 9- x 2-inch pan.

Cover rolls and let rise in a warm place until doubled in bulk, 30 to 40
minutes.

Brush tops of rolls with melted butter or margarine, then bake
in a moderately hot oven (375 degrees F) 18 to 20 minutes or until
nicely browned.

Serve warm with plenty of butter.
