My Goodness, it's been at least a month or two of Sunday's since I've found time to sit and write about my life and what's happening within it.
-------------
1st, we've finally gotten the problem solved with our new water heater and everything looks great.
We were very concerned about the 4 days, and I mean 4 FULL WORK DAYS of plummers in the house, making holes in the house, drilling here and there......
Yikes, these guys are spendy dudes!
-----------------
We were a so called test house.
The new inspector in town is creating alot of trouble for the older homes to get the newer tech stuff up to "CODE"...
As the 1940-1950 style built homes need new this and that... I suppose we all have to change this and that..
-------------------
The company we had doing the work is out neighbor who is looking at the same trouble at his own home soon...
------
I didn't care if they did this or that as long as I didn't have to pay for anything other than just the water heater...
That was the deal..
----------------
And, they kept their end of the bargain.... They found out what works and what doesn't. The inspector said the same thing.
They needed someone to allow them and everyone else to see what they can do with the existing stuff until everything is finally replaced..
--------------------
Which in these days of higher pricers is... Well, you know.
If the furnace still works, on one can afford to replace it...
Besides, I've heard bad things about the new furances...
------
We also made a great deal with both the inspector and the plummers...
They can replace our existing furance with whichever furance Glen wants and they will bring everything up to cod for free.....
-----------------
The furance will be replaced in August.
---------------
I mean... I had almost every plummer who works in this area, county... In my house looking at what these guys have done.
I heard this is a big problem...
You'd think they would know what's what..
However, everyone said they are having trouble getting this new inspector to say... OKAY..
--------------------
I had to giggle just this morning.
There was a big front page atricle about all this in todays local paper.
How the new meets the old....
-----------------
They didn't mention our home but did say they feel everyone will benifit from the experiments, the patience, and knowledge everyone has brought to this discussion table...
------------------
So, I think we're good to go.. Now, onto the furance..
--------
My life is going well.
I'm still doing my intership and enjoying this special time.
My health hasn't been all that great.
The horrible cold/cough has gone away finally after almost 7 months.
But, the rash hasn't.
-------
This is becoming a big problem for my life.
I can barelly handle the medicine they want me to take to get rid of this.
It makes me sick to my stomach, sleepy, and I ache everywhere.
The gel I need to use is okay, yet, I can't use it all day long.
------------------------
So, I'd say.. I'm about 1/2 way through this stuff..
-----------------
Good thing I don't wear bathing suits.. Tee Hee...
-------------------
Bakery work is always filled with cakes and extra stuff during the summer months.
I usually go in on Saturday mornings just to decorate cakes.
I did this morning for just 5 hours.
----------------
We're seeing a trend as we've seen in the past..
People are getting away from the tradtional "cakes" and making groovy stuff like root beer floats, renting ice cream making machines.....
There may be a small simple cake for looks, but I see the days of tons and tons of any kind of CAKE are leaving for awhile..
---------
Other than all that,
We're fine.
I do need to get.
Love to you all,
Dianne.

Hi, agian.
I had to leave earlier because...
Miss Hannah, you remember her.
Our 16 year-old daughter needed to go on a maidan voiage on the small motorcycle we have always had for the kids to learn on.
-------------------
So, it's aim at your parents..
We stand at the end of the alley..
She's simply got to go in a straight line..
We'll help you turn around in the street...
----------------
We'll walk beside you as you try to get comfortable with the BIKE..
Just like we did as you learned to ride a real bike....
THIS IS THE SAME IDEA, JUST WITH GEARS...
-----------------
All our neighbor biker's were out helping also.
No, we didn't ask them, they saw her and us..
Oh, goodie..
A newbie!!!
These guys were running long with her as poor Miss Hannah had to aim at her parents...
------
She did great!!!
Oh, okay, she killed it a couple of times, almost tipped over a few times, yet, all in all; SHE DID GREAT!!!
-------------
So, look out world..
Here comes Miss Hannah...
----------------
Glen and I are going away next weekend for his 64th birthday on Saturday.
We'll ride to Wisconsin after spending time with our daughter , Treyce and friends on Friday.
Home on Sunday.
-----------------------
I'll try to add my menu's for this week.
Hmm..
I have them planned out..
It would be easy as pie for me to turn this page on and add them.....
Now, Dianne.....
----------
Everyone do the best you can in all the situations you are in.
We will also.
Dianne.
