Crockpot, Orange Cinnamon Chicken

  • 3 to 4 pound chicken, cut into serving pieces
  • 1 cup chicken broth, homemade or canned
  • 1/4 pound butter
  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 1 cup sultanas (white raisins)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  1. Heat butter in a large skillet and brown chicken.  Remove chicken pieces to slow cooker as they brown.
  2. Combine all other ingredients except flour; mix well and pour over chicken.  Cover pot, turn on low and cook 4 to 6 hours, or until chicken is tender.
  3. Remove 1 cup of sauce from the pot and combine with flour, mixing well.
  4. Return sauce/flour mixture to crockpot. Turn to high, and cook for an additional 1/2 hour.
