Hi Cookie, Welcome to the Club. I did some research for you, but I'm not sure it will be helpful. I went to
http://places2eat.com and sent an E-Mail message to the manager of Shells in Orlando Fla. as follows:
Hello, I hope you can help me. I am the Manager of a food web site
http://communities.msn.com/recipesfornoncooks.
Today a member requested a recipe from Shells that she believes is no longer on the menu called "Cumrumba". She describes it as "a pasta with claw fish, kinda pinkish sauce , red and green peppers (not many), and its got a sorta hot kick to it"....If you are familiar with that recipe (or know where it might be found) and are willing to share it (since it is no longer served), please send to:
cookiemc [email protected]. I know she would appreciate it since she said she has been searching for it for 2 years. Thank-you in advance,
Sincerely, Nancy S. (
[email protected])
I requested a response to the messasage so either you or I should hear something...
Meanwhile I picked up a delicious-sounding easy recipe from the Shells website as a consolation prize to keep us from starving while we are waiting: Apparently they keep their recipes a well-guarded secret and won't even give them to
Gourmet so our chances of success are slim, I'm afraid. I suppose we should be grateful that they were willing to share this one. Bless their hearts....
