I had it at a wedding the person who brought it wasn't sure exactly what all went in it because they didn't make it, it was made for them. all we do know is the first layer was oreo type cookies,the second layer was chocolate pudding, and the last area was cool whip or whipped cream.anyone with this recipe please post and please e-mail with it.thanks christine

CHOCOLATE TO THE RESCUE

1 pkg. oreo cookies
2 large cool whip
3 big pkg. chocolate pudding
1 pkg. boxed double dark chocolate brownie mix
hershey's syrup

Bake brownies.
Cool.
Poke holes in Brownies.
Pour syrup over.
Let absorb. Crumble oreos.
Make pudding.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Layer as follows:
brownies
cookie crumbs
pudding
coolwhip
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Be sure you end up with cool whip on top!
Sprinkle with chocolate sprinkles.
This must be made 2-3 days in advance so the flavors mix together.

Here is a great recipe we have used for years in our house.
Ingredients:

1 ¼ cup          Flour
½ cup             Butter (softened)
½ cup             Pecans (finely chopped)
2-8oz pkg     Cream Cheese
½ cup             Powdered Sugar
1 ½ cup         Cool Whip
3 boxes          Chocolate Pudding mix ( Instant)
4 cup              Milk
20                   Oreo Cookies (crushed)

Directions for Layers:

Mix the flour, butter and pecans. Pat the mixture into a 9x13 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Allow to cool.

Mix together the cream cheese and powdered sugar with an electric mixer. Spread over the cooled crust.  Spread 1/2 the Whip Topping over the cream cheese layer.

Prepare the pudding folding in ½ of the crushed cookies and spread over the Whip Topping Layer.

Spread the remaining Whip Topping over the  pudding and top with the rest of the crushed Oreo cookies.

*Hint: The cookies can be crushed in a food processer or plastic bag.
