There is a new virus/worm out there......Read below. And believe me, two of our computers had it today. Here is what hubby found out.
This virus/worm is called msblast.exe. Do this to see if you have it:
Click start
Click Run
Type regedit
Click edit
Click find
Type msblast
Click search
If it shows up delete it from the folder you find it in regedit. Chance are after this it will be gone.
Then do a live update on your anti-virus. Oh, and the number one place for this virus to hide out is in Windows/System 32 Folder.
Hope this helps everybody.
And if you do find this virus Symantec has a fix for it. It's called Fixblast.exe. Download the program from Symantec's site and run it only after you turn off your System Restore in your Windows program.
