RULES TO SLEEP BY
Sleep specialists say parents should make sufficient sleep
a family priority to ensure their children get healthy
amounts of shut-eye. Here are some tips they offer on how
to accomplish that goal: Embrace good sleep habits by
establishing regular bedtime routines, creating a quiet and
comfortable bedroom free of televisions and computers and
eliminating caffeine from your child's diet; learn to
recognize sleep problems, such as difficulty falling asleep,
nighttime awakenings, snoring, stalling and resisting going
to bed, having trouble breathing and loud or heavy breathing
while sleeping, and talk to your child's doctor about sleep.
