COUNTRY WOODLAND

Did you ever walk through country woodland?
And look in amazement where the tall trees stand?
Then gaze at the sky through lacy green leaves
Fluttering slowly in the soft gentle breeze.
Did you stop and think of the beauty around?
Or listen intently to the country woodland sound?
And breathe in the freshness surrounding you there
Leaving you speechless with no worry or care.
Did you ever think how it refreshes your mind?
To walk through the woods leaving worries behind!
And breathe the fresh air with the wind in your face
You never will find a more peace-giving place!
