You mean...you are tired of Jessica, J lo, Brittiny, Paris, T. Cruz, P. Ditty, (or whatever his name is now), Alec, Angelina, etc. etc.
Why, I can't imagine why.... they are shoved down our throats, and on TV every night, like we care???? I'm joining you in your protest against this drivel....

I know eln...they are all such fakes.

I'm also getting tired of seeing them in ads on TV....as if that will make me buy what they endorse........but I imagine there are some who are easily influenced by them.

I am so glad I am not the only one sick of celebrity publicity.  They go too far when their antics are reported on News shows.  Why in the world do we care about Brad and Jen or whoever.  Their many weddings get me the most!  What hypocrisy.

Also, the only reason they look so good on screen or TV is that they have professionalmakeup artistsa dfna hair dressers, and flaws can be air brushed out....In real life, they look no more different than the general public.

I don't like today's celebrities.  But I do like hearing about the stars of my day.

If I didn't tune to certain shows I would never see anything about current celebrities.  Some of it I don't mind and when I get tired of it, I turn to something else.  As old as I am I'm not going to get any comfort out of telling myself how those gorgeous people look without their makeup, although I never thought much about it.    The so called regular news is something I dislike, so maybe that's why I'm more apt to watch celebs when nothing else is of interest.

The latest "news" on tv last night was how celebs gain or lose weight for specific movie roles.  Anorexia is the current craze.

Also, I heard that Rene Zellweger (sp?) gained 30 lbs. for a recent movie role. (or is gaining it.)

I seem to remember Elizabeth Taylor doing that yo-yo weight thing for movies, many years ago.  That can't be a healthy thing to do.

I was watching some clips on Angelina Jolie last night on "E".  It seems she and her father, John Voight don't have a father-daughter relationship.  He wants to but she doesn't want anything to do with him it sounds.  Anyway, as you may know she has adopted two children from Africa after visiting there.  Now Brad Pitt is adopting one or both of the children also.  Their last name witll be Jolie-Pitt.  I was wondering last night what kind of life those children will have.  We know they'll be very rich but what else?

Rene gained that weight for the second Bridget movie couple years ago and has lost it.  Years ago, I read when all those extra fat cells are in the body, they may leave due to dieting, but actually a part of them stays and makes it very easy to put on the pounds later in life.    She is so willowly, I thought it a shame for her to gain so much.

Jon Voight says the reason Angelina is at odds with him is he commented on national TV last year that she needed psychiatric help because she had mental problems.   Biography of her told how when she was younger and even when married to Thornton, she cuts on her skin.   Thornton and Laura Dern were a "committed" couple and broke up because of her...  Brad and his wife broke up because of her...  She is only in love until her next leading man.  She is fabulously gorgeous, but clearly has the type problem so many men have and a few women.   Hard to believe Pitt actually thinks he is the last one.   On Biography, an Asian woman said she and Angelina have been lovers for ten years and continue to be so, no matter what male she is seeing.
