WOW! I just cleaned the inside of my mouse. I was having trouble with it. It felt rough and would not go where I wanted it too. Now it's great. So smooth. Try it. Here are some directions. Does your cursor not go where you want as you move your computer's mouse? It could be lint from your mouse pad clogging rollers inside your mouse. I first published this web article in 1998. It has become one of the most popular pages on this server. Goto Mouse Tips |

My mouse doesn't have rollers or a ball. Got tired of cleaning the rollers on my old mouse so now have one of the new fangle(?) mouses. Not expensive either, much less hassle. Very informative article for people with that type mouse. Thanks.. |

Obie, just to let you know, I read your post and opened up the instructions on Sunday, but couldn't get mine opened easily. So, I'm putting it off for a while, but I will try that. A lady who uses the computer at the Library because her husband won't let her have one at home told me that her son had mentioned to her that we should clean the mouse there. It is a very informative bit of information. Thanks for sharing it. sb |

I'm here to tellya...it CAN be done. A long time ago, I got tired of mousey antics so I took it apart dusted it well and reassembled it. Worked just fine. but really if you don't want to take it apart, you can just remove the dust from the little ball from the outside. Just need to be sure there are no parts left over...LOL When the delete button quite workin' I bought a new keyboard for under 20 bucks and it has an infared /eye' that see's all and tells all. I sure like it and it really is a LOT LESS trouble... |
