Back in 1990, the Government seized the Mustang Ranch brothel in Nevada for tax evasion and, as required by law, tried to run it. They failed and it closed. Now we are trusting the economy of our country to a pack of nit-wits who couldn't make money running a whore house and selling booze?
Ellen, you have a legitimate gripe with our govt, and I could not agree more. However I do not believe that the IRS runs our economy. In 1990 the ranch was seized by the IRS for non-payment of taxes, and then sold to A.G.E. Corp. It was shut down and padlocked in 1999 when the owner fled the country to escape prosecution on tax evasion charges. Does not seem like the IRS failed to run it. I can only wonder if this coming election will give us any positive changes or just more of the same old crap from both parties.
