The Tiny Buds Of Life

Today as I sat looking at some tiny flowers on my window sill,
I marveled at their beauty, each petal sent a thrill.
Then I questioned, how could all this beauty come
from such a little plant in a pot measuring only "one?"

Then I thought of babies, born tiny like this flower,
and from buds of beauty become the flowers of tomorrow.
Even many hues are shown upon their tiny faces,
as they are born from seeds in many distant places.

It matters not the colors seen, or the containers they grow in,
their smiles and tiny fingers are like petals...as they begin
their journey of life, and gently they unfold.
In the end as the petals fall, a tale of life was told.

So when you witness nature and the cycle it goes through,
look closely at what you see, much like the morning dew.
People are like flowers, wanting only the world to see their bloom
as they grow from tiny buds....into a beauty that may fill a room.

Mm... Nice...  Poetry so says it don't it, sometimes... a piece of music... an old song... that picture... view; glimpse of someone caught on the bus home...

Thanks...  Justalady...
