Ah I’ll share this with you, just as it happened a few minutes ago?I taking my first glimpse out of the window at life on the street:

She, walking from her home
comes into my view?she smiles and waves: a little hand wave from her hip, bending slightly that way?/FONT>

She turns to walk down the path, between the huge chestnut trees, that leads to where the cars park, the other side of the boulevard. She hovers on the curb a moment, between two cars, waiting for her chance to cross?Turns, waves, then strides across, reaching the curb at the other boulevard, she turns and waves that little hand wave from the hip, again; just her hand moving from the wrist and always smiling? She set’s off down the sidewalk on the other side, now, to the corner and turns up away from our street.  She turns again and waves to him and keep’s on looking back as she walks the short walk to the corner of another apartment complex and disappears?

Ah…Young him: Rolly poly male, down from me and up the other end of the building,  looking out at her: Redheaded character; so young, slender, wearing black boots, slim slacks. short jacket?Carrying a large shoulder bag? Both, I am sure, are  full of last night? She so happy and fulfilled,  brimming over with love for him?SPAN>  He watches her disappear for the day?

I remember: My newly wed wife?Us in our twenties?Early twenties?21-2  I working shift work-- 12 hour nights, at the time of my memory?SPAN>  She had gone out on some  work-project; out to the outskirts of the city, picking peas  for a wage.  Coming home, she had forgot her key?I came down to let her in?

She stood there with a smudge of dirt on her cheek?so slender and lovely ?.   I just swept her up in my arms and carried her upstairs and?SPAN>   right there? Ah!   That is youth? She leaving him this morning?SPAN>   I, and her coming from the fields, with no rules…only desire and passion and impulsive response-- literally wallowing in each other?everything else revolving around?/FONT>

I felt happy for them. And turned away to continue my day?here where I am now?/FONT>

A beautiful view... a wonderful memory and a well written account of both.
